Fatty Liver Syndrome In Dairy Cattle: Relationship Between Nefa And Tg Serum Values In This Syndrome
ثبت نشده
چکیده
Fatty liver syndrome (Hepatic lipidosis) or fat cow syndrome is a major metabolic disorder in many dairy cattle's in early period of lactation. The aim of this study was to evaluating fatty liver syndrome in dairy cattle in Tabriz by measurement of NEFA and TG serum values. The results showed that NEFA has a direct relationship with TG. Thus, with elevating of NEFA serum values, TG also increased.

Hepatic triacylglycerols and serum non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA) variations in indigenous water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) in the province of Khuzestan, Iran
Fatty liver is a metabolic disorder of dairy cows in early lactation, and approximately half of multi-parous dairy cows experience a moderate to severe fatty liver at calving. Since the occurrence of fatty liver in buffalo is not known, the aim of this study was to evaluate the hepatic content of triacylglycerols (TAG) and total lipids (TL), and the serum content of non-esterified fatty acids (...

BACKGROUND: Fasting is an alternative method to induceanorexia. OBJECTIVES: The biochemical factors of liver andserum and clinical signs were measured and documented in fivenon-lactating, non-pregnant cows following eight days of fasting.METHODS:Five crossbred, non-lactating, and non-pregnantcattle were used in this study. They were fasted for 8 days_ totalfood deprivation; however, they had fr...
متن کاملStudy on serum glucose, insulin, NEFA, BHBA and lipid profile in different productive status of high producing Holstein dairy cows
Background: Metabolic profiles have been used in efforts to predict pre parturient problems and fertility, to diagnose metabolic diseases, and to assess nutritional status in dairy cows. These profiles may help to confirm the diagnosis of sub clinical diseases, to be aware of possible causes of infertility in the herds, or to monitor improvement in herd animals. OBJECTIVES: This study investiga...
متن کاملThe Effects of Aerobic Training on Serum Level of Liver Enzymes and Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors in Young Inactive Women
Abstract Background and Objectives: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is the most common chronic liver disorder and is also currently considered as the hepatic manifestation of metabolic syndrome. Regular exercise training may decrease fatty liver disease complications, although its impact is not yet clear. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of six...
متن کاملRelevance of serum concentrations of non-esterified fatty acids and very low-density lipoproteins in nulli/primiparous and multiparous cows in the close-up period
Serum concentrations of non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA) and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) in close-up dairy cattle were compared in relation to parity. Data were obtained from 37 nulli/primiparous (NP) and 24 multiparous (MU, parity: 2-7) cows between 14 days and 1 day prepartum. A positive correlation (r=0.684, P<0.01) was found between serum NEFA and VLDL concentrations in NP cows. Am...
